This is the most important part. The better the photo, the better the portrait.

What makes a good reference photo:

• Clear, well-lit shot of your pet.
• Front-facing or slight angle (not from behind, obviously 😅)
• In focus — blurry photos make it hard to capture details like markings and eye color
• Natural lighting is best; avoid heavy shadows or flash

You don't need a professional photo — a good phone shot works great. If you have a few options, send your favorites and we'll pick the best one.

Head to our Custom Pet Portrait Necklace page and add it to your cart. During checkout there's a notes field — that's where you can drop any special requests, for example : Full body, include collar, head only, head and neck, etc. 

Necklaces include your choice of a gold plated chain or silver rhodium plated chain, or just the pendant!

Once we have your photo, we will begin making your pendant! 

Because everything is made by hand, please allow 2–3 weeks for production before your order ships. Custom work takes time, and we'd rather get it right than rush it.

Your necklace arrives carefully packaged and ready to wear (or gift). We ship across the US using USPS First Class Mail. 

Can you do any pet?
We can do any pet! Anything you can take a picture of, we have done snakes, guinea pigs, fish and more. 

Can I order one as a gift?
Absolutely. Just leave the recipient's pet photo in the notes, and we can ship directly to them. 

How big is it?
Each pendant is small, measuring  1.5"h x 1"w— designed to be delicate and wearable, not a full portrait locket situation. 

Is it durable?
Yes. The ceramic is kiln fired  and the photo is also fired on. Treat it like any delicate jewelry — don't sleep in it, keep it away from harsh chemicals — and it'll last.
